Another Halloween has came and gone. How time flies!

I had a fabulous time. Clubbing. Scaring the kids who were treat or tricking. Partying. Over eating :P
London is lush. My all time dream is to live and work there.

Recently, I was offered a job transfer at a law firm in Bromley which is in London, Zone 5. A dozen of us set off on a grueling road trip from Bath to Bromley last Thursday to check out the office. It was a painfully long trip. Four hours there and four hours back. We left a 9:00am and got back at 9ish at night!

Although I really want to live in London coupled with the fact I was offered a 2 year working visa. I don't think Bromley is the answer. It's not in the heart of London and it takes approximately the same time from Bath to London Paddington to get from Bromley to Kingston! Sheesh. I couldn't see myself working two years in a law firm that didn't give me a very good impression. And, don't make me start about the pay. Ugh!

I'm sure they would be lots of opportunities in the future. I've set my heart on completing my 9 months pupillage next year. And I'm really psyched about being with my family after being away from home for so long.
I'm getting called to the Bar at the end of this month. It really means so much to me. I'm so happy! :)

To top it up, this year ends with an amazing trip to China! I can't wait! Wohoo!

Bath

Bath is a lovely place. Flooded with tourists from all around the world. The High street and the area around the Abbey really reminds me of Covent Garden. Endless buskers. Amusing for the tourist but really dull if you walk past them everyday.
The same songs. The same performance. However, some of the buskers can sure sing!

On the plus side, staying in Bath gives you access to lovely parks. Went to Prior park last week and the weather was amazing! Prior park's an 18-century garden close to the city of Bath. It has an ornamental Palladian bridge which is one of the only four in the world, apparently :)

Had a lovely picnic AJ prepared. My sweetheart! And the route to get into the park was definitely exciting. *teehee* On the downside, you have to bloody pay to get into parks in Bath. Ohh...but we got in free. Don't ask how!

The photos in the shade didn't come out very well. A bit grainy and dark. Ugh!

I'm tanned and I'm back from my holiday in Calabria, South Italy with the Southcombe's!

The weather was fabulous. Was so relaxing just chilling at the beach everyday and sightseeing.

I had such a great time I didn't wanna leave. Lovely company, BEAUTIFUL sceneries and scrumptious italian food.

It has been really warm for the past week. Thank God I got a huge fan from Haskins before they were sold out.

However, the weather's cooling down this week. It's been spitting rain. Works interesting but frustrating at times!

I've been trying to get my self to the gym (which is just downstairs) but I think I've basically given up! I think I like the option of having a gym better than actually using it! I've gotta get fit for my beach holiday at the end of this month.

I'm really excited! A whole long week of chilling on the beach, exploring the rustic surroundings in South Italy, pigging out on risotto and getting tipsy on italian wine. Ahhh life is bliss!

Moving on, over one of the sunny weekends, I was in London. Went to visit Tower Bridge and had a lovely BBQ at AJ's.

Friday, 14:00

I'm back in my studio flat because I've got a half day off work. The new holiday calender starts again in July so I had to take all my holidays by the end of this month.

I go online and i find out that the Harvey Nicks sales had started on Wed!

My heart's pumping. I grab my handbag and I rush out.

I'm waiting for the lift. I'm tapping the button and it seems like it's taking forever but in reality it only took a few seconds. I live on the 2nd floor. lol. I tap the button a few more times, even though I know it makes no difference. The lift finally gets to my floor!

I get outside my apartment and I'm running to town. Okay, maybe not. I can't run. But I'm walking reaaaally fast.

I only live 10 minutes away from town. Ten minutes from Harvey Nicks. I know that because I've actually timed my self. I feel like I'm turning a bit into a psycho. But I'm too excited.

I'm a bargain hunter! And I'm about 100 meters away from Harvey Nicks. My pace slows down.

I think I'm getting my hopes up. The sales is gonna be disappointing. It would probably be 20% and off season items.

I reach HN's and OMG. 50% sign boards.

I see them around the Gucci counters. I see them on Jimmy Choos. I see them on Alexander McQueen. I see them EVERWHERE.

I start grabbing things. I started going a bit crazy. Taking in the whole thing.

And then I'm done with the bag section. I take the escalator up. SHOES. Lovely pretty shoes.

Ahhh! It feels like I'm in heaven. I got what I want...and I wake up today at 7:00am. It's a bloody Saturday. And by 10:00 I'm there again.

Lovely sales! They give you an excuse to shop and not feel guilty.

Prague Diaries.

30th May 2009

16:10 - Prague local time

- Got onto Bus 119 from the airport to Metro Station A. - Bought a 3 day ticket for 330CZK = £11.00. Unlimited travel on busses, trams and metro. (Awesome!)

16:15

- Still on the bus. AJ pointed at McDonalds. (McD Junkie!) - The weather is rainy. Not too happy bout that.- AJ pointed at a signboard. 2 naked women advertising a night club. Welcome to Europe.

16:20

- At Dejvicka Metro station. Waiting for a train to go to the Muzeum stop. - Dehydrated. Went to buy some mineral water but managed to buy sparkling water as I could not read Czech. Only 15CZK though!

22:50

- Back from our night out! Went to New Town around Wenceslas Square. Watching Simpsons in Czech. LOL!

- By the way, the Hotel is lovely! Everything the website promised. I was a bit paranoid. However it was a lovely 5 Star hotel. King sized bed. Mini bar and lush tub, bell boys and a nice view. Thank god. Nothing dodgy.

-Back to Wenceslas Square. I was taken away with the amazing architecture! Wenceslas square is a long street with a really posh Museum/ Opera House on the top of it.

- My stomach was growling around 18:30ish. Some how got really lucky and found a traditional Czech restaurant off Wenceslas Square. Went to Bredovsky Dvur. Food was FAB.

- People were staring! They were just looking at me as if I was an alien. Started telling AJ that people are looking at me weird. Sat down at the table at the restaurant and the waiter was VERY interested in where I was from.

-Told him 3 times but he couldn't understand me. Wrote it down and he went OOOH!! He then said I was very exotic. So maybe they were staring at me because I looked different. *tee hee*

- I order a kilo of roast pork knee. Bloody massive!!! It was served on a chopping board with a skewer across the meat. Only 175 CZK = £6.50. You can NEVER get that in the UK.

- OMG. I had beer. Had a mug of Pilsner Urquell. Beer is dirt cheap in Prague. I manage to finish half a mug.

- AJ was overjoyed with his massive mug of Pilsner Urquell and a gigantic plate of mix meat platter.

Okay, too lazy to go on. Photos will be my words.

I'm back from my holiday in Prague. IT WAS AMAZING!

Had such a fabulous time with my lovely. And thanks all for all the Birthday wishes.
